The Pearlies takes inspiration from the elaborate mother-of-pearl button suits worn by the Pearly Kings and Queens of England, translating that tradition into a stylised stripe of radial stars and suns articulated in small button-like motifs around a central zigzag and offset border. The result is a playful, contemporary geometric that brings personality and subtle texture to a wall.
Digitally printed in the United States on a fibrous nonwoven ground, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 38-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. It is spongeable and suited to wallcovering.
