Thompson Merino Windowpane layers a small herringbone with a windowpane check, both woven in mélange merino lambswool so the cloth has a heathered, softly blurred quality rather than the crispness you might expect from menswear suiting. The result is a fabric that borrows tailoring's discipline but remains tactile and warm.
Woven in Scotland from 100 per cent merino lambswool, it is 147 centimetres wide with a 5-centimetre vertical repeat and a 4-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, cushions, curtains, blinds and walls, and is available in four colourways.
