Tiepolo Shantung Weave is a plain cloth woven to mimic the slubbed, irregular surface of silk shantung, the texture built into the weave so it catches light unevenly and gives the fabric a quiet, organic character. It reads as a solid from a distance but rewards closer inspection with its tactile surface.
Made in India by Schumacher from polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery across a wide range of interiors. The cloth should be dry cleaned, and it is offered in an extensive palette of colourways.
