Tikki Tape is a substantial trim embroidered in raffia with a graphic crisscross pattern that reads as a pronounced chevron or zigzag. The design, created in collaboration with Mary McDonald, brings a strong textural finish to upholstered furniture, cushions and curtain edges, the raffia catching light and adding natural, tactile interest.
Made in India, it is embroidered on a linen ground—70 per cent linen, 30 per cent raffia—and measures 8 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 2 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 3 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in a wide range of colourways and suits curtains, cushions and upholstery edging.
