Schumacher | Tipton Appliqué

Tipton Appliqué sets a triangular grid onto a heavy linen ground, the geometry built up in relief so the pattern has real dimension and casts its own shadow. The appliqué technique gives the design a handworked character, and the medium scale allows the repeat to register clearly without dominating.

Made in India, the fabric is composed of linen, polyester, cotton and viscose, and measures 132 centimetres wide with a 20-centimetre vertical repeat and 32-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the weight and texture of the cloth lending itself to pieces that benefit from substance.
