Toile de la Prairie is a recast of an 1820s toile in which songbirds, butterflies, blooming branches and seed pods intermingle across a bucolic meadow scene. The pattern is narrative and detailed, with the charm of an archive print brought forward into a modern cloth.
Printed in France on pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre repeat in both directions. It may be machine washed up to 40 degrees. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and is also made as a wallcovering.
