Toile Tropique takes its cue from the botanical etchings made by artists aboard early-nineteenth-century voyages, who recorded newly discovered tropical flora in exquisite detail. Fine-lined palms proliferate across the cloth in an elegant profusion that complements maximalist settings, the pattern carrying both historical reference and graphic confidence.
Printed in France on pure cotton, the fabric is 136 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 118 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 46 centimetres. It can be machine washed up to 40 degrees. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
