Tombay is a printed cotton stripe in which delicate vines climb vertically between intricate borders that frame the width. The design comes from a vintage document and reads at a medium scale, the botanical detail fine enough to keep the eye interested without overwhelming a room.
Printed in the United Kingdom on 100% cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 46-centimetre vertical repeat and a horizontal repeat that runs the full width. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the bordered stripe can be cut and arranged in various ways depending on the piece.
