Schumacher | Trace of Connection

Trace of Connection is a woven floral in which the motifs are rendered in a pixelated, almost digital manner, the pattern accentuated by uncut threads that give the surface a lively, textural quality. Inspired by Lyon silks and formal French gardens, the design balances classical floral references with a contemporary, graphic energy, so the cloth reads as both refined and dynamic.

Woven in Italy from pure polyester, it is 145 centimetres wide with a 43‑centimetre vertical repeat and a 71‑centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended, and the cloth suits cushions and upholstery in domestic settings where the medium‑scale pattern and textural weave can be appreciated.
