Schumacher | Tropical Safari Print

Tropical Safari Print draws on French toile de Jouy and African wax prints, fusing the two traditions into a design of tropical plants set against a rhythmic, contrasting ground. Created with fashion designer Johanna Ortiz, the pattern is digitally printed and reads as a vibrant, cross-cultural conversation in cloth.

Printed in the United Kingdom on a linen and nylon base—88 per cent linen, 12 per cent nylon—it is 137 centimetres wide with vertical and horizontal repeats of 48 and 46 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the design is also available as a wallcovering.
