Tulip Hand Block is a simple floral motif, hand-blocked onto cloth, in which each bloom reaches outward with an almost animated cheerfulness. The design is part of Molly Mahon's Hand Block Prints II collection, and the rose-and-grass colourway gives it a fresh, garden-room quality. The small-scale repeat reads as an all-over pattern without dominating a space.
Printed in India onto a cotton-linen blend—55 per cent cotton, 45 per cent linen—the cloth is 140 centimetres wide with a 9-centimetre vertical repeat and 19-centimetre horizontal repeat. It is offered in four colourways and should be dry-cleaned. Suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
