Tulip Play Hand Block Print is a linen printed with a repeating tulip motif, each flower applied individually by hand block in India. The pattern draws on the artist Caroline Z Hurley's memories of 1980s prints, and the hand process gives each length a particular, slightly irregular character. The vertical repeat runs to 91 centimetres, the horizontal to 88, so the design reads at a comfortable domestic scale on curtains and larger pieces.
It is printed in India on 100% linen, 142 centimetres wide, and should be dry-cleaned. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
