Turkestan Embroidery Pillow takes a silk ikat from Central Asia as its starting point and reworks the design in satin-stitch embroidery, so the pattern sits proud of the ground and catches the light. The stitching gives the graphic repeat a dimensional quality, halfway between cloth and relief.

Made in India with a knife-edge finish, the cushion is 51 centimetres square, part polyester in composition, and comes with a feather-and-down insert and concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended.
