Tuzla is a warp-printed ikat with a feathered, offset stripe that reads as both graphic and loose-edged. The ancient technique dyes the warp threads before weaving, so the pattern emerges with a characteristic blur. At this scale the ikat stripe becomes architectural, the 90-centimetre vertical repeat giving it room to breathe on larger pieces and full-length curtains.
Woven in India from cotton and rayon, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 67-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and is made in three colourways.
