Schumacher | Twiggy Silk

Twiggy Silk sets flowering branches in silhouette against a solid ground, the pattern mid-scale and graphic, the slubby Indian silk catching light unevenly so the cloth has a quiet shimmer. The branches are delicate but clear, the design bringing something of the outdoors inside without sentiment, and the pigment printing sits on the surface of the satin weave rather than soaking through.

Printed in India on pure silk, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 75.3-centimetre vertical repeat and 136-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. Suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the cloth also works outdoors, and the shimmer is especially effective at windows where natural light can move across it.
