Twill Tape is a narrow woven ribbon with a diagonal stripe running its length, the twill weave giving the cloth a directional grain and a slight sheen. The design takes its cue from nineteen-forties guitar straps, so it has a utilitarian, almost workwear character that suits relaxed, informal schemes.
Made in India from polyester, the tape is one centimetre wide and woven on a jacquard loom. Dry cleaning is recommended. It works as edging on curtains, cushions and upholstery, applied flat or as piping, and is offered in several colourways.
