Tyninghame Trellis is a leafy lattice woven with a subtle strié that gives the surface a fine, irregular grain. The pattern, drawn from archive, reads as an open framework of foliage at a medium scale, and because the cloth is reversible it can be turned to suit the light or the application.
Woven in Italy from cotton and linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 36 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 23 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and its reversibility makes it especially useful where both faces might be seen.
