Schumacher | Umberto

Umberto is a chenille woven with a small-scale geometric pattern, the pile giving the design a soft, tactile surface. The repeat is minimal — two centimetres vertically, one horizontally — so the pattern reads as an all-over texture rather than a distinct motif. The chenille construction adds weight and warmth to the cloth.

Woven in the United States from sixty per cent cotton and forty per cent rayon, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, and is offered in eight colourways.
