Schumacher | Valencay Damask

Valencay Damask is a linen embroidered with a traditional damask motif, the pattern worked in satin stitch so it sits proud of the ground. The cloth is sheer enough to filter light, the embroidery casting shadows that shift through the day, and the terracotta colourway brings warmth without weight.

Made in Thailand from linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 69 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 30 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains and blinds where its translucency can be used to soften daylight, as well as cushions and light upholstery, and it is also available as a wallcovering.
