Vanessa Embroidery follows a flowering vine in loose, wandering curves across cotton twill, the scrolling forms built up in dense satin stitching that gives the design a raised, tactile surface. The effect is painterly rather than botanical, a large-scale pattern with an informal, almost sketched quality that reads as movement rather than decoration.

Made in India from mercerised cotton and poly-cotton, it is 130 centimetres wide with a 76-centimetre vertical repeat and a horizontal repeat that runs the full width. Dry cleaning is recommended. The embroidered texture and scale suit curtains and blinds, and it works equally well for cushions and upholstery.
