Schumacher | Vasily

Vasily is an abstracted botanical drawn from a 1930s pattern, its geraniums and peculiar berries rendered in a loose, almost naïve hand. The design has an airy, quirky quality, the forms floating against the ground without obvious structure, so the pattern reads as decoration rather than architecture.

Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 32 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres, sold by the metre from rolls of 9.14 metres. Spongeable. Available in two colourways. It suits walls where a delicate, illustrative floral is wanted without the weight of a large-scale damask.
