Schumacher | Velours Oriental Épinglé

Velours Oriental Épinglé derives from an archive tapestry, combining baroque patterning with exotic motifs in an épinglé velvet that has both texture and dimension. The pile is cut and looped, giving the surface a varied relief that catches light unevenly and lends the design a sculptural quality.

Woven in the United States from fifty-seven per cent cotton, thirty-seven per cent linen and six per cent polyester, it is 132 centimetres wide with a 137-centimetre vertical repeat and 66-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The durability and weight make it suitable for upholstery and cushions.
