Schumacher | Verdi Sheer

Verdi Sheer is a fine, striped linen voile with a small proportion of silk woven through, the natural fibres bringing subtle variation to the cloth—no two lengths are identical. The stripe runs horizontally on a 12-centimetre repeat, giving the sheer a gentle, layered rhythm that diffuses light without fuss.

Woven in India, it is 137 centimetres wide and composed of 97 per cent linen with 3 per cent silk. The cloth suits unlined curtains and blinds where its translucency and natural irregularities can be seen to advantage. Dry cleaning is recommended.
