Vermicelli Velvet is a cut-and-loop velvet with a soft pile set against a subtly striated ground, the texture reading as fine, irregular lines that shift direction across the surface. The pattern repeats at 12 centimetres vertically and 9 horizontally, small enough to behave as an all-over texture rather than an obvious repeat, and the technique gives the cloth a gentle, tactile depth.
Woven in Belgium from pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design is also offered as hand-stitched embroidery on a linen ground, and it is available in seven colourways.
