Verona takes the marbled swirls of traditional carta marmorizzata and enlarges them to an architectural scale, the sinuous ribbons of colour looping across the cloth with a restless, fluid energy. Printed on cotton, the design has the movement of water or ink dropped into liquid, a pattern that never quite settles.
It is printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent cotton, 139 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 61 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 46 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
