Vientiane Ikat is a linen print inspired by traditional Central Asian woven ikats, simplified into a graphic, repeating motif. The design retains the characteristic blurred edges and rhythm of ikat weaving, but rendered in print it becomes more controlled and easier to work with at scale. The 32-centimetre vertical and 17-centimetre horizontal repeats give the pattern a medium scale that suits a range of applications.
Printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide and comes in several colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and a coordinating wallcovering is also available.
