Schumacher | Villandry Damask Print

Villandry Damask Print is a damask motif printed onto a jacquard-woven cotton ground, so the pattern sits in two layers: the woven texture beneath and the printed ornament above. The vertical repeat runs to 71 centimetres, giving the design presence on curtains and upholstered pieces, while the double construction adds depth and a tactile quality to what might otherwise read as flat.

It is printed in Thailand on 100 per cent cotton, 137 centimetres wide, with a horizontal repeat of 22 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and belongs to Schumacher's Palazzo collection.
