Virginia Panel A is one element of a three-panel design created with Haitian American fashion designer Victor Glemaud, its bold appliquéd stripes inspired by the supergraphics of the 1970s. The panels can be combined and configured in different arrangements to build a larger composition, or used singly where a strong graphic statement is wanted. The black-and-white version shown here reflects Glemaud's preference for clean lines and pared-down form.

Woven in India from linen, cotton and viscose, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 366-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat—the full width of the cloth. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the design is also available as wallpaper.
