Schumacher | Wavelength

Wavelength is a serpentine stripe embroidered onto a strié ground, the stitching following a zigzag path and finished with a silky clipped fringe that gives the surface both texture and movement. The stripe reads as a mid-scale pattern, the embroidery catching light differently as the fringe shifts, so the cloth has a quiet animation in the room.

It is made in Italy from viscose and cotton, 138 centimetres wide with a 23-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the embroidered detail and fringed finish bring a tactile quality to furniture and windows alike.
