Schumacher | Wellesley

Wellesley is composed of natural feathers, each one gathered and applied by hand to form a small-scale lattice across the surface. The result is a wallcovering with genuine texture and depth, the individual feathers catching light and shadow so the pattern shifts with the time of day and the angle of view.

Made in Taiwan and sold by the panel, each measures 97 centimetres wide by just over three metres in length, with a vertical repeat of four centimetres. It is part of Schumacher's Nest collection. Maintenance is by gentle vacuuming with a soft brush only. The construction and material make it a statement surface for walls where tactile interest is wanted.
