Wentworth Embroidery is a linen ground worked with cross-stitch in a striped arrangement, the embroidered bands running horizontally with subtle tonal shifts within each line. The hand-stitched quality gives the cloth a domestic, crafted character, quietly decorative without being fussy.
Made in India from 50 per cent linen and 50 per cent cotton, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 6 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 67 centimetres. Machine washable at 40 degrees. Available in several colourways, it suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and the modest scale of the repeat makes it adaptable across different uses.
