Schumacher | Wide Hand Block Stripe

Wide Hand Block Stripe is a medium-scale stripe printed by hand, so the edges are soft and the ink sits unevenly in places, giving the design a watery, almost washed quality. The irregularities are deliberate, the result of the block-printing process, and they lend the stripe a relaxed character that pairs well with florals and small geometrics or holds its own as a foil to plainer weaves.

Designed in Britain and block-printed by hand in India on 100% linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 28-centimetre vertical repeat and a 27-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and comes in several colourways.
