Wilson Embroidery is a simple geometric pattern worked in thick cotton stitching on a cotton ground, the hand embroidery giving it a folkloric character. The stitching is substantial enough to be felt as well as seen, and the small repeat makes it easy to place on furniture or at windows.
Made in India from one hundred per cent cotton, the cloth is 138 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 8 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 7 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, where the embroidered pattern adds texture and a handmade quality.
