Winding Wheat is a botanical design of serpentine stems and delicate blossoms, rotary-printed on a cotton satin weave. The pattern is medium in scale, graceful and unfussy, and was created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States as part of Schumacher's American Heritage collection. The design is also available as a wallpaper.
Printed in the United Kingdom on pure cotton with a satin weave, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 46-centimetre vertical repeat and a 27-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
