Schumacher | Xenia Velvet Tape

Xenia Velvet Tape takes the soft-edged geometry of ikat and renders it in cut velvet at a bold scale, the pile catching and releasing light across the pattern to give the design depth and movement. The velvet surface brings tactile richness to what is already a visually layered motif.

Woven in India from equal parts cotton and viscose, the tape is 13 centimetres wide with a 30-centimetre repeat in both directions. It is recommended for dry cleaning and suits the edges of curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture, where its substantial hand and graphic presence make a considered finishing detail.
