Schumacher | Zanzibar Trellis Mylar

Zanzibar Trellis Mylar is a fretwork pattern printed on reflective mylar, its geometric lattice rendered in metallic gold that shifts and gleams with the light. First introduced in the 1970s and inspired by the trellised interiors of Elsie de Wolfe, the design has a graphic, architectural quality at this scale, the repeat creating a continuous grid across the wall.

Printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 32-centimetre vertical repeat and 34-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from rolls of just over four metres. The surface requires only spot cleaning. The pattern is also available in silver mylar and as both a fabric and a flat paper.
