Zimba is a bold, graphic chevron printed on a linen-cotton ground, the zigzag drawn wide and confident so it reads as architecture rather than ornament. The design has a directional energy that works well on a single plane—cushions especially—or run vertically as upholstery, where the repeat can be centred and the geometry held taut.
Printed in the United Kingdom from fifty-five per cent linen and forty-five per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with an eighty-one-centimetre vertical repeat and a sixty-nine-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, and is also available as a wallcovering.
