Schumacher | Zoila

Zoila is a small-scale weave of cotton and jute with the irregularities that come from handwork, so the surface has a slight unevenness and the rhythm is loose rather than mechanical. The mix of fibres gives the cloth a natural, unfinished character.

Woven in India from seventy per cent cotton and thirty per cent jute, it is 133 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of three centimetres and a horizontal repeat of one centimetre. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions.
