Izora is a textured jacquard from the Threads Moro collection, sharing the range's palette of soft sea blues, deep indigo and organic neutrals. The repeat is a little larger here, 20 by 26 centimetres, so the structure has more presence than a finer grain, reading as a loosely worked, abstract texture rather than a defined motif. Being pure linen, it has the dry, matte hand we look for in a curtain-weight natural, with real depth up close.
The cloth is 100 per cent linen, 130 centimetres wide, with a 20 centimetre vertical and 26 centimetre horizontal repeat. There is no rub count published, so we keep it to curtains, cushions and light occasional seating rather than a family sofa, even though the page lists it for loose and fixed upholstery too. It comes in three colourways, Bronze, Teal and Charcoal: Bronze is the warm, metallic-toned neutral, Teal is the collection's signature blue-green, and Charcoal is the deepest and most graphic of the three.
We tend to use Izora for full-length curtains in a living room or study, where the larger structure reads well from a distance, and for an occasional chair or a bench cushion. It pairs well with a plain linen weave on the main seating and a Nala print for a second layer of pattern. Sold by the half metre; order a sample to see it in your own light.
Match the 20 centimetre repeat across widths when cutting curtains, and allow a full repeat per drop. Line and interline for weight and to protect the linen from strong sun, and for a chair, centre the structure on the seat and inside back before the cutter starts; dry clean only.
